![](_themes/dipb/mstbul1a.gif) | After installing DynamIP my Dial-up Networking stuff doesn't
work anymore. If you are using Windows 95 you must install the Dial-up
Networking V1.3 Upgrade as mentioned on the Requirements
page. Installing this upgrade should also fix your Dial-up Networking problem. |
![](_themes/dipb/mstbul1a.gif) | There are no notification sounds. Make sure that the file path/name you entered into the
appropriate fields are correct (click the provided button to test your settings). Also,
you might want to check the volume settings? Or could it be that your sound card is in
"mute" mode? |
![](_themes/dipb/mstbul1a.gif) | DynamIP does not correctly detect my IP address (or does not
detect that I am connected at all). Try to change the IP Method. |
![](_themes/dipb/mstbul1a.gif) | More than one person wants to use DynamIP on my system.
Information about how to set up DynamIP in this case is available here. |
![](_themes/dipb/mstbul1a.gif) | If you are running Win95 and can't save that dial-up
connection password (even though you've checked the appropriate box) you should have a
good look at this
article in the MS Knowledge Base and then get the fix for your system. Note that this
problem is neither caused by DynamIP nor will DynamIP
help you solve it (DynamIP does NOT store passwords of dial-up
connections). However, installing the update will solve your problem for sure. |
If you encountered and solved a problem not mentioned here please drop me a line so that I can add your solution
to the above list. Thanks.
